Our birds come from small family farms throughout the Northeast, and are butchered right here in Maine. They are a natural product: antibiotic free, with no added chemicals or adulterants. Our birds are air chilled and Halal guaranteed.

I ordered a variety of chicken cuts from Commonwealth, I've heard some great things about the chicken and I was looking for a local source of humane meat. The chicken arrived well packaged and everything was frozen solid except a small package of sausage that was starting to soften (I just cooked this right up as soon as I opened the box. Made a delicious pasta sauce!). The first chicken I have tried has been the legs, and I just oven roasted them and they were excellent! Very flavorful. I will definitely be getting more chicken from Commonwealth Poultry.
